Place upright on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts.
To avoid excessive smoke, cut the wick to 5 millimetres before lighting. 
Do not leave lit for more than 4 consecutive hours. 
Keep away from flammable objects (such as matches). 
Do not use on very hot surfaces (e.g., oven or microwave).
Do not move until the wax has resolidified. 
Do not touch the hot wax or container during or immediately after use.
Do not use when there is less than 1 centimetre of wick remaining and do not let the candle burn all the way through. 
Do not allow the flame to lick the side of the container. 
Do not blow on the candle to extinguish it – put out the candle by smothering the flame. 
Do not use if the container is damaged. 
Do not re-use the candle holder for other purposes (such as for drinking or storing food). 
People who are sensitive to perfume should use this product with caution.
